Increase Performance on BlackBerry

BlackBerry is like a computer, there are times when the performance of the BlackBerry decreased even hangs. BlackBerry performance degradation can be caused by depletion of storage space on the memory or RAM memory. Here are some tips to improve the performance of your BlackBerry again.

Remove Rarely Used Applications 
Often BlackBerry users to install applications from appworld and use it only a few times. When the application is no longer in use, usually user forget to remove from the BlackBerry.
In addition to third-party applications, there is also the default application that is not so useful, for example, there are BlackBerry game that doesn't so attractive or Help application which is rarely used because user more often rely on the Internet to solve problems around the BlackBerry. This applications takes up space in memory storage that has been allocated to the application.
To reduce the number and remove applications that are rarely or never used in BlackBerry, you can access the Settings > Options > aplications. The screen will display a variety of applications installed on the BlackBerry, then select the application to be removed by pressing the trackball or trackpad, and select Delete. You can also delete an application by pressing the menu key (BlackBerry logo) and select Delete on the scree menu. To remove the default application such as games or help, change the third party option to add-on.

Remove Past Appointments From The Calendar
Calendar feature on the BlackBerry has the ability to save appointment and will alert you when the time comes. Although not much reduce the space in memory, but if you type of person that use this feature frequently and let it pile up, it definitely affects the performance of the phone.
You can use the calendar feature that automatically delete the past appointment after a certain period of time. This feature can be accessed by pressing the menu button while in the Calendar menu select Options > General options > and change the option Keep Appointment to the lowest, 15 days. So the appointment calendar stored on the BlackBerry will be automatically deleted after the 15 days of specified date.

Delete Old Messages
Just as the appointement in calendar, messages (SMS, MMS and email) that has been too long also need to delete. You can sort them directly from the message list or activate a feature that automatically delete old messages. How to do it? In the message menu press the menu button > Options > General Options and change the Days To Keep Messages option to 15 days. Furthermore, this feature works automatically.

Remove Default Video Samples
Usually on the BlackBerry included video sample for testing the quality of the video player. And to show the video player ability, video quality is good enough takes a lot of space in memory storage.

Clear Cache and Cookies From Your Browser
This one is useful for increasing the speed of the BlackBerry default browser, if you feel the performance is slow. To do so, you can open the browser, press the menu button > Options > Cache Operations. You can remove the Content Cache, Pushed Content and Cookie Cache by pressing the button labeled Clear. You can even delete the browser history (what the site contains the information you have visited) on this menu.

Clean the Memory
When an application is run, the application will store temporary data in RAM memory. Unfortunately, some applications do not remove the memory used again after the application is turned off. To get your space back, you have to do it yourself. You do this by running the memory cleaning features on the Settings menu > Options > Security Options > Advanced Security Options > Memory Cleaning, press the menu button then select Clean Now.
You can even set the feature is run automatically by selecting 'yes' on the choice of 'clean When idle' and then specify the time interval on the choice of 'idle timeout'.

Clear the Event Log
You can also delete the event log to clear the RAM memory by pressing Alt-LGLG. Press the menu button and select Clear Log.
