GADGET REVIEW - Sony looks like don't wanna left behind from iPad and Galaxy Tab that already booming on a global market, slow but sure Sony began their step on producing tablets PC. First tablet PC product from Sony called Sony Tablet S.

Sony Tablet S comes with unique fold design. Rounded shape on the left side of the tablet, makes this tablet look like a folded magazine while in portrait mode. Meanwhile, when placed on a table or on your lap in landscape mode, asymmetric thickness in the tablet makes it more comfortable to hold and typing.

Sony's tablet has a 9.4 inch screen with 0.7 inches thick. And thanks to TruBlack technology and 1280 x 800 pixels resolution in it to make this tablet is able to minimize the refraction of light. Coupled with 2 (two) pieces of stereo speakers on both sides were able to produce loud and clear sound.

The presence of the keyboard on the tablet is indeed reminiscent of the HP Touchpad. If you select "Show number keys" under Setting, layout will show the number pad on the right letters in landscape mode, while in portrait mode is above the keyboard. By default, these numbers only appear when the cursor is in certain places such as the password field.

Sony Tablet S equipped with Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor. And to add more "horsepower", this tablet has also been equipped with 1GB of RAM and added a certificate from PlayStation, it means user able to play the PlayStation game. Sony Tablet S itself has been supported Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) OS. Users will be able to access some applications from the Recent App menu and can change the size of the widget.
