Gadget Review - The increasing popularity of dual SIM mobile in Asia, has become a major concern for Samsung. After presenting the Galaxy Y Duos that's more targeted to beginners, Samsung now beginning to explore the middle-class market by releasing the Galaxy Ace Duos. Come up with design lines resembling Ace, Ace Duos trying to offer an affordable smartphone that can hold two SIM cards at once.

Design and Interface
Comes with a full touchscreen candy bar design, duos Ace present with design resembling Ace line. Using a plastic material, Ace Duos using rough rear casing that feels solid in the hand.

As for storage space, Ace Duos provides with 3GB of space, that divided into 1GB for system and 2GB for user. You can also add a memory card with a maximum capacity of 32GB.

Camera and Video
To capture important moments, you can use a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus. A series of features such as scene mode, exposure, focus mode and resolution options are included in the Ace Duos. Unfortunately with a resolution of 5 megapixels, Ace Duos has not been equipped with flash lights. To record video, Ace Duos camera capable of producing images with VGA resolution at 30 frame rate per second.

Multimedia
In the entertainment sector, Ace Duos automatically insert songs stored in the category: album, artist and song. You can also create a playlist of songs that you often listen to.

To enrich your experience of listening to music, Samsung pinned equalizer settings. When you listen to music with the included headset, you can also enjoy 5.1 Ch sound effects.

Dual SIM Feature
Carrying the Dual SIM capability, Ace Duos can be used to accommodate two GSM SIM cards. Ace Duos is a dual standby mode system, which allows users to continue to receive calls even if one card is being used to talk. This capability is referred to as Dual SIM Always On, you need to activate first by filling out the SIM number 1 and 2 that you put into the field provided on the SIM Card Manager menu in the settings menu.

Other Features
In addition to native Android apps, Samsung has also provided QuickOffice, memo, task as well as news and weather to support the activities of your day-to-day work. While, to accommodate social networking activities, Samsung set up Social Hub which presents status updates in real-time from Facebook, Twitter and linkedin in one place.

Connectivity
Browse the web with the Ace Duos relying on a 3G connection or Wi-Fi HSDPA. Unfortunately, connections HSDPA on Ace Duos only supported by SIM1, while to SIM2 can only be connected to the network GPRS. Another downside, Ace Duos browser doesn't support flash player and can only open 4 tabs at once. While for the purposes of data transfer, you can use a data cable and bluetooth.

Conclusion
The high demand of mobile phones with dual SIM capabilities responded by Samsung to launch Dual SIM capable phones that targeting various segments users. One of the market strategy made by Samsung is to launch Mid Dual SIM Android smartphone, such as Ace Duos. Although in terms of hardware Ace Duos not so strong, however, the flexibility, efficiency of dual SIM smartphone, the price tag that tempting, would be the main attraction for consumers. Furthermore, the choice of course back to each of you.
