BlackBerry gives look really fresh on this new device. With its tall and thin, straight edges and rounded corners design, at first glance makes it look similar to the iPhone 5. This shape makes Z10 is easy to operate with one hand.
Blackberry only provide power button which also doubles as the lock screen, voice control and a button to launch the voice command function.
Unlike the iPhone 5, which uses aluminum material, the Blackberry just use plastic material for this product. As a result it has a lighter weight than the iPhone 5. Looks elegant despite being seen more frail.
Display
The display is very crisp, clear and has vibrant color. It is viewable at almost any angle and is easy to view outdoors in direct sunlight.
Without the main buttons (menu, home and back) that commonly used in previous versions of the Blackberry, making all functions of the navigation carried out through the touch screen.
The way you exit apps is also new, with the Z10 requiring you to slide up from the BlackBerry logo below the screen to the centre of the device, which sees the apps you're currently in minimized and upon release popped into the top left position on the homescreen.

BBM, is this feature that makes the BlackBerry famous in the world and sets it apart from other smartphones. Of course, this features have the most attention from the BlackBerry.
The layout of the BBM has been totally a revamp to follow the new BB10 theme with messages displaying in the same speech bubble design as texts. You can also access your current BBM conversations from the BlackBerry Hub, enabling you to speedily bash out a missive without having to launch the full blown app.

Hardware
The Z10 offers a 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 dual-core processors with 2GB of RAM. Yet as we know, dual core processor is a "regular" hardware for most Android devices.
But BB10 OS is claimed to optimize the ability of the hardware so that the performance of the phone still able to satisfy the user. Z10 quite powerful, although only equipped with a dual core processor. During the test, Z10 showed no signs of "hourglass" or hang as that often occurs before BlackBerry Z10.
Camera
BlackBerry Z10 equipped with an 8-megapixel camera, capable of taking 1080p stabilized video. Z10 camera is reasonably quick to focus and even quicker to capture images, helping you to capture roughly one shot per second. When you need more, switch to Burst mode, that can take two to three photos per second as long as you hold your finger down.
BlackBerry also added a Time Shift feature on the camera. With this feature the camera captures multiple moment when the shutter is pressed so that you can get the best moment. Pinpoint and adjust on something specific of your picture before taking a shot. Time Shift mode captures milliseconds before and after your photo, so you can scroll back or forward on the dial to open and adjust the best moment of each specific thing that you've chosen before, before combining it all to create the perfect picture. This mode is best to use when shooting a moving object or a group of people who can sometimes be imperfect because of blinking or making unwanted expression, because you can choose the best moments from each image captured.
Connectivity
To be able to compete with its competitors, BlackBerry Z10 was equipped with all the high-end connectivity options you might need. To connect into the data connection, the BlackBerry has support 4G LTE network, although not all countries support this network.
Z10 also features a micro HDMI slot to connect to a display device such as an HDTV to enjoy a collection of photos or videos stored on the phone. For wireless connections, DLNA and NFC options are also available in this phone. There is also Bluetooth and microUSB connectivity to complement your choice.
Conclusion
With a massive overhaul in several sectors, BlackBerry obviously want to take his throne back after a long replaced by products like Android and iOS. With BB10 OS it has the potential for a BlackBerry to get back in the smartphone market competition.
A fresh look and user friendly interface, good performance, a variety of connectivity options, camera with attractive features, and of course the BBM thats more sophisticated and exclusive, can be a reason for you to pick this smartphone.
Unfortunately Blackberry seems not so concerned about their material design, because another product with almost the same price have used a more solid material.
