If your BlackBerry is an illegal stuff or derived from the Black Market (We do not recommend this!), or the service/operator you use is not included in the download list, you can use these tips:
- Download BlackBerry Device Software from any services/operators anywhere in the list.
- Select your BlackBerry type and click 'next' to proceed.
- Click download on the latest BlackBerry OS.
- Fill your data on the form, select 'yes' after the statement "I Confirm the information set out above is accurate and current".
- Check 'agree' and click 'next' on the next screen.
- Click 'download' and wait until the download file is complete.
- Run your downloaded BlackBerry Device Software files to install
- Follow the instructions until the installation is complete. And you do not need to run Device Manager because the upgrading process doesn't use this software. Then click 'Finish'
- Delete “vendor.xml” files that can be found in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Apploader"
- Run "loader.exe" in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Apploader\Loader.exe".
- Follow the instructions, click 'next' on every window that pops-up.
- Select an application and language you want to install into your BlackBerry, then click 'next'.
- In the next window you are given the option to backup data. Select "Automatically back up the device application data". Hit 'next'
- Click 'Finish'
- Wait until all the process is complete.
